Jan 9, 2001: Missing Acknowledgment Acknowledgment of Joe Konczal added to
(project overview).
Feb 16, 2001: New CDs burned and distributed
The CD writing software that was used to create the original CD
had an undocumented limit in the number of files that could be copied to CD. This limit
was not related to the volume of data but only to the number of file names. New CD's
were burned after zipping the contents of the TMFsite and TMFsite_instrumented directories.
Feb 16, 2001: How to browse the TMF sites
Due to the naming convention used within TMFsite and TMFsite_instrumented html files,
these sites can only be examined using a web browser. If you attempt to follow the links
by using a tool like WindowsExplorer, the file locations will not resolve properly.
Within the document set, links are referred to as ...href="/FoolSite/...";
this means that FoolSite must be configured as a root of a virtual directory for your
http server. Otherwise, these references will fail. You will NOT see 404 errors since
that is a code returned by an http server.
