The IUSR Project is an active working group. Individuals, however, may elect to
participate at varying levels of involvement. Read through the following list to
decide which type of membership is right for you.
- Information Seeker: If you are curious about IUSR documents or
might want to use the Common Industry Format for reporting usability, you will
find all current drafts of IUSR documents on the IUSR site. These are
available for use by anyone accessing the site. Since these drafts will be
updated from time to time, you should note what version you are using.
If you wish to be notified when these documents are updated or new
workshops are announced, please email iusr@nist.gov and we will add you to our
announcement email list.
- Active participant: If you are considering contributing (or
already have contributed) to document development, related committee work,
or testing of the CIF, but you are not currently enrolled to perform pilot
testing, you are an active participant. You will have access to the current
status of the project and to ongoing working group and committee
discussions. Please email iusr@nist.gov
for further information about active participation and access to IUSR
archives and committees.
- Pilot tester: These are IUSR active participants, primarily from
industry who are pilot testing the CIF. This pilot testing is done in
conjunction with a partner, so that customer/supplier pairs are each
testing the CIF and collecting data about its use. Please email iusr@nist.gov for further information
about the requirements for pilot testing participation and access to IUSR
archives and committees.
