Which of the following best describes what you
are building for this program (please feel free to
elaborate):
* collaborative tool(s)
* evaluation tools
Which of the following IC&V program objectives
will your research results support:
* Enable interoperability across diverse encoding formats, co-ordination and consistency protocols, and real-time services
* Scale collaborations to 10 active collaborators, 100 questioners, and 1000 observers
* Reduce by an order of magnitude the time needed to generate collaborative applications
* Reduce by an order of magnitude the time to establish collaborative sessions across heterogeneous environments
Who do you see as the users of your products--please give more specifics, if possible:
* DOD:
* Office workers:
* Managers:
* Software Engineers:
When will your research "product" be ready to share with potential end users (in the lab, in the field:)
* Within the next 6 months
What information from potential end users would assist you in developing and refining your system?
Types of senantic events (or more generally user collaboration metrics) are of interest
When evaluating the utility of your product, what will be your measures of success?
1. The ability to gather the data (metrics) for an evaluation of a collaboration session.
2. The ability to demonstrate distributed multi-user, multi-platform shared (and didderent) views
What can the Evaluation Working Group provide that would assist you in your testing and evaluation (check as many as apply):
* Access to end users for design, testing or discussion
* Scenarios or scripts to exercise collaborative systems
* Other (please describe):
review
Where do you see relationships between your system or research product and others in the IC&V program?
Both offerer and user of evaluation mechanisms
Any other comments:
Angel Wings Technology is near the end of a six month SBIR program to demonstrate the use of Open Doc (and related tech such as sometal and scripting) to provide shared and different views of collaboration.
To use that same mechanism to select and use semantic events to then be used to gather collaboration metrics.
Will try to meet with each one of you to get your response to our demo.
I am on the EWG mailing list; just haven't really participated.
